"No, I answered, what do you mean?" This was certainly going to be interesting!!
"You know, like, buy a husband."
"Ohh well you don't buy a husband..."
'Oh" she said, seemingly satisfied with that answer. Then later.. Well how do you get one?
Would you be shocked if I admitted my first thought was.. I have no idea. Because it was... I tried to steer the conversation towards dating, and being friends first, and building a relationship and partnership. But really, I just kept thinking, I don't know how people get husbands!!

I wish we could buy husbands. Custom made ones. From a catalogue. That would make my life WAY less complicated.
Still don't know how I got mine:)
LOL, I'm with Brooke, not sure how I got mine either. I love reading the cute things your kids say. It makes me look forward (and sorta dread) the day she starts asking a bunch of questions!
Kirsten was singing about "my husband" today. I asked, "Who is your husband?" I should have known, "My husband is Dave." I convinced her she needed to be older to have a husband, but that's about as far as we got. Now her husband is Tia Leah.
